HSAC (and CHiMP) Elections

Get ready for HSAC Elections! This is your chance to stretch those event planning muscles and get involved in making sure all Honors students have fun semesters.

If anyone is interested in running for a position, please answer this short Q & A and email it to ccnyhsac@gmail.com by March 23rd:
1) What position do you want to run for?
2) Why do you want to run for this position?
3) What makes you a qualified candidate (i.e.: past experience, interest, time commitment)?

The positions available for next year are: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Social Media Manager, and Public Relations. (Positions may be adopted/amended at the discretion of the current eboard)

If you’re interested in running for CHiMP, then email ccnyhonors@gmail.com with your name and the position you’re running for.

OH and just because you’re not running, doesn’t mean you can’t attend! Be sure to come out and vote for your fave candidates!

HSAC Presents: Open Mic & Cultural Potluck

Stellar performances, delicious food, and great company.

Come join us for a night of singing and mingling! HSAC is hosting an open-mic for the performers and cultural potluck for the ones with an appetite for great food. So, all summed together, that means theres something for everyone right? Come one, come all! Everyone is invited and we can’t wait to see you.

Admission is only $5 in advance, $7 at the door. If you participate in the event (i.e.: signing up for one or both of the above), admission is free. Advance ticket sales will start mid-March.

On Tuesday, November 25th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, we will be having a Thanksgiving Potluck hosted by CHiMP located in the Great Hall!

General Interest Meeting!

On Tuesday, November 18th (that’s next week) at 12:30 PM, we will be having a General Interest meeting in the NAC, Room 4/148 to discuss upcoming events such as bake sales, a potluck and decorating! Definitely stop by if you’re interested in helping out!

It’s official!  We’re going to Six Flags Fright Fest this October!  Make sure you get the chance to enjoy the rollarcoasters, frights and fun by registering on the google doc!  Space is limited so register soon.  We will deal with all travel, admission, and fright fest pass arrangements, so all you need to do is pay the reduced inclusive fee + enjoy!  SEE YOU THERE! 😀

CCNY Honors Students, HSAC would like to welcome you all to the new semester and school year!  We wish you all a great semester in both your academic and extracurricular endeavors.  Thank you for visiting our site!  We hope to see you at our next event.
